Slainte!
Over the past couple weeks, I've been busy putting together a brand new compilation
CD that I'm very proud of. It's called "Coventina's Well" and features
a wonderful mix of twelve Celtic songs and tunes from a bunch of artists on
MP3.com. You may've
seen it already, but it's now up and it's on sale until next week. Please
help out the artists by ordering a copy. This is a great way to shoot the
music up the charts and gain greater exposure for these fine artists.
As for last issue's question about a paid subscription, that's become somewhat
irrelevant thanks to Google Adsense's new advertising program. You can see
the ads on another new page I setup dedicated to promoting the compilation
CD artists. It's at http://www.celticmp3s.com/help/
. A special thanks goes out to Jen Clower-Brown who provided the artwork
for "Coventina's Well" and also designed the t-shirts that will
be coming soon.
Oh,
and let's not forget to mention that this CD is a non-profit CD benefitting
the Austin Celtic Association. So your money will be well-spent with great
music and helping out an organization dedicated to promoting the Celtic culture
in Central Texas. _____________________________________SPONSOR__________

Celtic Music Band
Feature Visit the artist's homepage by clicking the
link above Celebrating
Irish and Celtic traditions through music, songs, stories, and games. "singing,
dancing, everywhere" the new album issued by Nancy Daily-Green is certainly
the most objective release to come on the market in the last half century.
Aimed as it is at the younger generation of Irish music lovers, it serves
as an ideal introduction to perhaps the greatest folk music the world
knows. Not often
I find great traditional Celtic songs, but a couple years ago, I met Nancy
Daily-Green. I talked to Nancy recently. She was telling me about her trip
to Ireland where she was able to find several of absolute gems that she put
on her new album. "Baidin Fheidhlimidh" is one such gem. Not only
is it great Irish song sung in Irish gaelic, but like much of her music it
is something that is just enjoyable by children as adults.
Pure
traditional Irish music drawn from three of the band's albums in the late
70s before the band started collaborating with other artists. This is music
for the pure drop fans!
4. Celtic
Music Band Feature Visit the artist's homepage by
clicking the link above The playout
tune of the Celtic theatre album A farewell to dawn - the story of the Celtic
journey in original music verse and song. Exzile features the music fiddling
of Andrew Hennessey of Jacouse. "Sailing
Home" is a fantastic, raging fiddle tune that will get your toes tapping
and your mind dancing to the sounds of Ireland.
