"I
found your site, Celtic MP3's.com, while looking for a source of Celtic music
online. I am a writer (aka Amy Busby) and most of my stories involve Scotland
or Ireland in one way or another. I have found it easier to write if I am listening
to celtic music and you site has been a great help!" -Amy Shultz, Arizona
Whew! Texas Renaissance
Festival is finally almost over! This means I can breathe again, and maybe even
do a few more issues of this newsletter, huh? I
got an email today from someon who signed up for the Bard Crier, my band newsletter
asking about free MP3s from Loreena McKennit and Enya. Well, I put together a
few Celtic
Music FAQ for you to read and learn more about what my site is all about.
You will also
note that I am now publishing the zine online. You can read it from the link above.
I'm hoping to earn ever more traffic by doing so. But it's your referrals that
help the most. So please add a link. Thanks! _____________________________________SPONSOR__________

A mad mix of traditional Scottish/Irish folk...with BIG ROCK guitars
combined with mandolin, fiddle, accordion, whistles and pipes!! It usually
starts fast, and gets even FASTER!! "The
Grass Is Greener" is an original piece that opens with a raging Pogue-ish
style traditional reel. It's also a good immigration song that actually sounds
more Rockabilly than anything, but there's definitely the punk flair of The
Pogues and Dropkick Murphy's. The song is a helluva lot of fun!
"The
Visit" was Loreena McKennit's 1992 breakthrough album that combines a
variety of Celtic styles. It features such magical pieces as "Bonny
Portmore" and "Lady of Shalott". But it opens up with a wonderful
song for Halloween, "All Souls Night".

Music Band Feature Visit the artist's homepage by
clicking the link above Sometimes
there's a huge advantage to knowing another language. I've found no other
free downloads from Wolfstone, except by this Celtic World Italy. One
of the most important Scottish bands, Wolfstone combines the radical sounds
of Celtic folk music with modern rock. The group was formed in 1989 by fiddler
Duncan Chisolm. The band began touring extensively and soon released several
albums that went Gold. "Where
the Summers Go" is a modern progressive piece that combines great songwriting
with some very popular sounding music, and still traditional instrumentalion
mixed in.

Celtic Music Website If
you're looking for anything Celtic...in Italy. Celtic World Italy is the place
to go. There are concert listings, Celtic resources, and even quite a few
free Celtic MP3s by artists who perform in Italy like Wolfstone, Whisky Trail,
Flook, Tuatha De Danann. And many more. Yes, the site is Italian, but you
can always head over to http://babelfish.altavista.com/
to translate it. _____________________________________SPONSOR__________
