"The Fall Song" by Damanta

Three words best describe the group Damanta: Funk, Groove, and Gaelic.

Damanta was formed by Elegwen O'Maoileoin and is an Irish-Candian fusion band. Their songs, both in Irish and English, are intense and perfect for either a candlelit club or a footstomping mainstage.

Their music is often refered to as "the darker side of Celtic music" for its intensity and the vocal stylings. They make for an interesting and unique twist to the world of Celtic music. One that is very welcome indeed.
