The Merry Blacksmiths are a young and exciting traditional band from Santa Paula, California. Led by Max Becher, the band plays the spirited dance music of Ireland and Scotland, as well as some original tunes written by members of the band. Members range in age from 13-15 and are for the most part completely self-taught.
