Jimmy Young is originally from the West Coast of Scotland and has spent the last twenty years as a professional musician and composer. HIs albums strongly featuring his compositions and skills on the Northumbrian Pipes (a small bellows-blown pipe from the borders of Scotland) and other wind instruments. James Wilkinson has toured extensively and released two CDs, and has also been an integral member of the award winning Celtic ensemble Rua touring Australia. He is an outstanding Guitarist nominated, in 2000, as NZ Guitarist of the Year.
Their debut CD 'The Official Bootleg/Live in Australia 2001' has been receiving critical acclaim with one of its tracks, Raider, rated Number One on Radiopie's Top Ten Charts. They have also in the last month recorded a new CD at the Harbourlight Theatre, Lyttelton " Waltzing into Battle with the Woman I Love So Well" is now available.
