"Baidin Fheidhlimidh" by Nancy Daily-Green
Celebrating Irish and Celtic traditions through music, songs, stories, and games. "singing, dancing, everywhere" the new album issued by Nancy Daily-Green is certainly the most objective release to come on the market in the last half century. Aimed as it is at the younger generation of Irish music lovers, it serves as an ideal introduction to perhaps the greatest folk music the world knows.
Not often I find great traditional Celtic songs, but a couple years ago, I met Nancy Daily-Green. I talked to Nancy recently. She was telling me about her trip to Ireland where she was able to find several of absolute gems that she put on her new album. "Baidin Fheidhlimidh" is one such gem. Not only is it great Irish song sung in Irish gaelic, but like much of her music it is something that is just enjoyable by children as adults.Hometown: Springfield, MO Similar Artists: irish songs, folk songs, gaelic songs Website: Nancy Daily-Green Download MP3: "Baidin Fheidhlimidh" Buy CD: "singing, dancing everywhere" by Nancy Daily-Green
